The Turkish Festival was held on April 28 in Broken Arrow, at the Tulsa Raindrop Turkish House. This year was our second year to go, and this year my mom was able to join us. The festival offers education about Turkey, Turkish folk dancing, but most importantly Turkish food!!!! The food is the main reason we go. :) They offer a huge variety of different foods, and this year, we enjoyed a döner kebabı, baklava, as well as several other desserts, and Turkish tea. Everything was so delicious. We also bought a few goodies from the market.

I am not sure who he is, but I am sure Fatih call tell us. Fatih?
Our haul from the market!
We are so fortunate to have this available to us every year. Not only do they host this festival, they also have events such as Turkish language class, Turkish cooking class, Ladies Tea night, and Ladies Coffee night, which are all available to the public. I am sure once Fatih arrives, we will be more involved in the Turkish community, so look for more pictures in the future. So excited!!
Have a great weekend!!
