At the park!!!

These were taken back in January, at our nearby park. The weather here was freakishly nice this winter, so we took advantage of it as much as we could.

As you can see, she loves to take pictures. I just wish I had a better camera, but for now, I will just have to edit the heck out of them with Photoshop.

I'm baaaackkkkk!!!

Well, we are back. Yes, we, as in the Özaydın family!!!! Well ok, not quite yet but pretty close. Maybe I should give a little run-down since it has been over a year since the last post. During the time of my last post, I think Fatih had been back from Turkey for a month or so and was living in Austin, which means we had been long distance dating for 3 months. We had one awesome month to get to know one another in Tulsa, before he went to Turkey the first time. I don't how but we managed to fall deeper in love, despite being apart for so long, but we did. It did not take me long to realize that this was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Eventually, we had seriously talked about marriage, and he decided that he needed to go back to Turkey and speak to his family. August 26 he left for Turkey, in November we announced our engagement and I sent in the K-1 Visa application for him to come back here and we could finally get married!!!

....still waiting. I guess I shouldn't complain, some people have been waiting for a while and our application has went through when it should. The average processing time is 5 months and we are at 4 months right now. We are waiting for his interview and hopefully, that will be quick. I mean I am a patient person and all but being away from someone for almost 7 months is very stressful.

With all of that being said, he and I have discussed today, that we should keep an updated blog about our life. I mean, who wouldn't want to read about a Turkish/American family? We will try to post in both English and Turkish for any friends or family that may visit our blog, and we promise to update as much as possible!!!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!
